Scarlet View is a 4 piece Octane Rock band from Kansas City, Missouri. Imagine a vocal energy similar to Staind, a rhythm section tight like Dirt era Alice In Chains, and a guitar sound like the Deftones, and Scarlet View is born. With an energy that matches Asking Alexandria live, Scarlet View delivers a polished rawness that has not been seen since Guns & Roses broke in 1988, and it really is like that.
In 2019, shortly after a disaster laden tour in their side band Stories Through Storms, Bryce Loewenstein (vocals) and STS former bassist Chris Kassein joined forces just in time for Scarlet View to play their first arena level show–and they have been living the movie and rolling with the punches ever since. A band that wears Rock and Roll on its sleeve, nu metal in its G tuned heart, and with a side of BuckCherry tattooed on its throat–this is Scarlet View: High Octane Rock & Roll.
With a wide range of touring experience, which includes arena level shows at the Sprint Center, (now T Mobile Center), club level venues, and no uncertain amount of DIY regional runs, Scarlet View has opened for greats, such as From Ashes To New, Avatar, New Years Day, Gemini Syndrome, He is Legend, and more. During the shutdown in March of 2021, they made their national debut with an appearance in Hollywood, California on Sumerian Records’ hit show No Cover featuring legends Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale, Gavin Rossdale, Bishop Briggs, and Tosin Abasi–where the Godfather of Shock Rock Alice Cooper reminded them off camera that despite the ups and downs that are indeed a part of the business (i.e., abducted bassists in New Orleans, a dozen dudes crammed in a van for weeks with no AC, or bassists who quit days before an arena level show), “This is Rock and Roll–never quit.” Luckily for fans, they haven’t.
Most recently, they have been recording at Black Book Sound in Houston with Robbie Joyner (Black Book Sound, Audio Engineer), AJ Channer (Producer, Fire From The Gods, Audio Pariah) & Richie Wicander (Chief Audio Engineer, Fire From The Gods, BMG). They are looking to tour with acts like Animals As Leaders, Bring Me The Horizon, Highly Suspect, and Asking Alexandria and plan on releasing a single with a video in early March of next year titled “NEVER COMIN DOWN.” It’s about veterans with PTSD who have been through the ringer. But, like the song says “so low–these vultures try to ground me. I’m never coming down…Come and try to break me!” This band is a whole vibe: encouragement, consolation, and perseverance. “Look at the sky” you’ll see their blood stained wings in 2023 in a video that slaps harder than Metallica’s “One.” Remember the name–this is Scarlet View.
