About
Sewerslvt is the project of an anonymous transgender Australian musician. They produced EDM, breakcore, industrial and drum 'n' bass. The content they produced has often been controversial and edgy, album covers containing sexual or other explicit material, varying allegations, many songs containing shock material as vocals alongside the song names and album names having hidden meaning either to supposed "lore" to Sewerslvt, or to explicit and controversial material. These include the song Lolibox on Drowning in the Sewer being linked to a controversial doujinshi, or goodbye on we had good times together, dont forget that, both the album and song linked to the death of Sewerslvt's spouse.
They were first known as Sadboy Sheldon, during or before the production of their first studio album, Don't Be Afraid Of Dying. Afterward, they changed their project to Sewerslvt, and pseudonyms to Jvnko / Jvne, alter egos between male and female.
Their first internet hit, Pretty Cvnt, was released in the double EP Sewer//Slvt. In the time between Sewer//Slvt and Drowning in the Sewer, they became well known in transgender subculture on internet image forums/boards, such as 4chan or KiwiFarms.
Drowning in the Sewer released in 2019, which included many explicit references and an album cover originally featuring a drawn explicit image before being changed.
Their most known, documented and famed album is Draining Love Story, released the year after Drowning in the Sewer. Their most famous song, with drum 'n' bass alongside modified Japanese vocals was Mr. Kill Myself, released on the album. After this climax in 2020, Sewerslvt's primary lifespan producing music under this name would last less than a year and a half.
They attracted less controversy with the 3 main pieces released between Draining Love Story and we had good times together, dont forget that, but remained keen talk for the internet, often attracting harassment for how edgy the content could be seen as.
we had good times together, dont forget that was their final studio album and final piece released before they quit. It was created shortly after the death of Sewerslvt's spouse and the songs on it reflect it. After this albums release alongside their spouses death, there have been no new major releases since we had good times together, dont forget that was published.
On 9th May 2024, the musician behind Sewerslvt created a new project using that stage name to promote it: Cynthoni. They released with an EP called Sewerslvt presents: Cynthoni, Pt. 1. This defines Sewerslvt as a project by the anonymous musician to be defunct.
